About

Hi, I’m Kerry

I’ve been training my own dogs for over 40 years as companion, hunting, herding and search dogs. I have participated with my dogs in a wide range of dog sports and real world work. I have been happily partnered with terriers, spaniels, shepherds, retrievers and everything in between.

After working to get my terriers trained and certified as Search & Rescue dogs, I completed instructor training and have been working with aspiring Search & Rescue K9 Handlers to help them develop the skills to train and work with their canine partners in a wide array of environments and situations.  My focus is on training the person first, teaching relationship building skills that can lead to strong communication with their canine partners. It is my philosophy that through effective and efficient communication, the handler and the dog can achieve anything they set as their goal.
